Alisha was born in Florida on 14 July 1989. Her first role as an actor was in 2008's short Murder on Her Mind. The decade of 2010 saw she became a full-time actor and was first seen in Just Before I go (2014). She also played single-episode role as a character in Criminal Minds and Married. The family was from Dallas, Texas with her siblings and parents. Holland Roden studied from Hockaday School which was a girls private school. She is a specialist in medicine. Her entire family has studied women's studies and molecular science at UCLA. Holland Roden, who wanted to be a thoracic and cardiothoracic surgeon, attended premedical classes for a few years. She decided later to pursue acting. Her next project was single-occurring roles on Switched at Birth (a show) as well as Major Crimes. Two General Hospital episodes, she next played Nurse Kelsey. Her debut starring appearance on TV was Maia Roberts in the Freeform series Shadowhunters in which she was a part in from 2017 to 2019. Raising Dion, a Netflix show, followed. She will be seen as Palmer alongside Justin Timberlake.
