Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd became more confident after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound tactics, resulting in the TKO second round victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters, was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking her streak to win. in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
